Day 1

Arrival at Grittleton House. Settle into the rooms before a tour of the magnificent Victorian manor house.

Evening program – first encounter with English culture- visit to the local pub The Neeld Arms

Day 2

After Breakfast, the students participated in the first English as a Foreign Language (EFL) session. The session was focused on the structure of the Anglia Exam, types of activities and the procedures.

After the lessons the students enjoyed the walk to one of the most beautiful English villages of Castle Combe and proceeded by coach to the village of Lacock.

Evening program – joining in the sport activities – archery

Day 3

After breakfast the students participated in the second EFL session. This time the focus was on the exam practice of each exam paper.

After the lessons – a visit to Oxford with a guided walking tour around some of the famous colleges including Christchurch and Corpus Christi and the Bodleian Library. Free time in the afternoon to explore the city and the many historical buildings.

Dinner in Oxford. Late return form Oxford to Grittleton for a well deserved good night sleep!

Day 4

After breakfast, the students participated in the third and last EFL session. This time the focus was on the exam techniques and concentration techniques and also A&Q time.

After the session the students had a break and then returned to the classrooms to sit their Anglia Exam.

In the afternoon they took part in a relaxing trip to Bath, visited the Roman Baths Museum and had free time to experience the temptation of English high street.

Evening activities – a pub quiz at The Neeld Arms
