Our Brief
The brief was to create an educational trip which encouraged students to practice their English, to be located near to London. We were asked to investigate the cost of air travel & local transport versus a coach charter for the whole stay. We concluded with the help of our coach partner in Holland that coach charter was the best value option. The trip was also to include a visit to a London theatre for an evening performance.
Meet coach in Mijdrecht and travel to the UK.
Arrival at 18:00 in the evening, greeted by host families and dinner.
Meet coach and transfer to WINDSOR CASTLE for guided tour and educational workshop.
Visit Windsor town on return for shopping and free time.
Meet coach and transfer to CANTERBURY. Visit the CANTERBURY TALES MUSEUM in the morning, followed by packed lunch and a guided tour of Canterbury’s most famous sites. In the afternoon visit CANTERBURY CATHEDRAL where a short quiz is provided for students.
In the evening there was an optional activity of TEN PIN BOWLING in nearby Margate.
Meet coach and transfer to LONDON for a self led tour of the main city highlights and museums.
An evening meal in London before meeting the coach and transferring to THE ORCHARD THEATRE for a performance of ‘Thoroughly Modern Millie’
Return to Mijdrecht by coach.
"We are back safe and sound and had a great time in England. Our coach driver was really fantastic. The program was very good again. We all had a lot of fun on the excursions, and the students have certainly got a good impression of England. All our students were very happy with their host families. So, all in all the trip was a great success. The feedback of the students was all positive. So, thank you very much again for the good organisation and the nice cooperation."
